New Year, New Mindset
Whether you were ready for it or not, the new year has arrived. It's the time of year when people rack their brains for fresh resolutions to uphold in the new year. Treadmills that once sat empty are now occupied and dental floss sales are at an all-time high. Then, after a few weeks or even days of our new-found routine we fall off the tracks. I've definitely been there before. "I'm going to jog a mile every week...run a marathon...start eating more vegetables." While all of those actions are admirable, I think resolutions should be centered around a mindset. Instead of holding yourself to unrealistic expectations and action-based resolutions, think of ways to improve your attitude -- perhaps you want to think more positively, be less self-critical, or consistently practice self-love. The good news is, you'll have 365 days to put into practice your new-found attitude. My personal intention for 2018 is to live more creatively. Hence, the creation of The Simple Somethings. So, what is your 2018 mindset?
